CHESAPEAKE--Anne Marie Vance Vertz, 69, passed away March 26, 2021. She was born in Portsmouth to the late Ernest and Mary Miller Vance.

Anne is predeceased by her sister, Patricia Bunty.  She is survived by her husband, J. Cliff Vertz; her children, Tammy Baker (Franklin) and Brandon Vertz; her sister Mary Skenes (Willie, Jr.); and three grandchildren, Leyda Sanders, Katelyn Baker, and Dakota Baker.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High St., Portsmouth. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Rd., Suffolk.
