Anna Lee Russo Perrot, 86, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Feb 19, 2014 after a 39 year illness. Born in Portsmouth, Anna Lee was the daughter of the late Augustine Joseph Russo, M.D. and Marguerite Gregory Russo. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, Portsmouth.

Predeceased by her husband, George Erle Perrot, Jr, Son, Joseph Edward Perrot and brother, Joseph Edward Russo. After a prolonged illness at home, Anna became a resident of Colony Ridge Nursing Home in Nags Head, NC, where she was embraced for over 31 years by many friends whom she considered family. Her role as President of the Resident Council fit right in with her concern for her fellow residents. Special "thanks" go out to those at Colony Ridge who gave her continued care, love & affection. The family also wishes to acknowledge the care and compassion given to our beloved Mother by Community Home Care & Hospice.

Anna Lee is survived by daughters, Peggy Foreman (Sonny) of Chesapeake, and Jane Collins (Sonny) of Portsmouth, sons; George Perrot (Dot), David Perrot (Debbie) of Manteo, NC and Ricky Perrot (Shelly) of East Lake, NC, Seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at St. Therese Catholic Church, 4137 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake, 23321 from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25. A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday followed by a reception in the church social hall. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery immediately after.
